Hilton Head Lacrosse

From Boys High School Teams:

"My teams have spent ten years going to Hilton Head as guests of the McCoys and Weiss'. The accommodations and experience are second to none. My boys have always left S.C. prepared for the upcoming season. I would not think of going anywhere else.

"Being a team from the north we were looking for a place to train for a week where we were confident we would have good weather and good fields. Another thing that was important to us was to be in a place where we could allow the players to roam around and not get into trouble. Being in a gated community was just the ticket. The villas are excellent and so much better than being stuck in hotel rooms on a 5th floor where you can't get out. The staff is very easy to work with and goes out of the way to meet your needs."

"Hilton Head Spring training lacrosse is a pure lacrosse experience. As we enter into the start of spring, regardless of what the weather is at home, I know that we will be prepared for season because of the time we spend down south in Hilton Head. Whatever our needs might be, the Weiss's and McCoy's do a great job of customizing our schedule and giving us all the field time we are looking for. Every year, I meet with my seniors in the fall and ask them where they want to travel this year for spring training, and each year it is the same, Hilton Head Island. That's the best testimonial there is."

"I have been taking teams to Hilton Head for the last ten years and have thoroughly enjoyed every trip. The facilities not only allow us extensive time on the field, but the villas are fantastic to relax in after a practice or scrimmage. Our practice times and game schedule are given to us when we arrive, and all the coaches have to worry about is the on-the-field coaching. One of my favorite parts of the trip, is how much my teams have bonded while they stay in the villas. They cook together, clean together and do laundry together, and through all of this, they are working together and helping one another out, which good teams do on the field as well. My kids always come back excited for the following year's trip and that is all a coach can really ask for."
